Setting up UAT Bug option in Jira

We currently have an issue type for our IT bugs found during sprints, but how can I set up an option for bugs found during User Acceptance Tests(ie. UAT bugs?) This would be valuable to have as an option when creating bug tickets. Thank you!

Hey @Lauren Morgan 

There's a few ways you can define different types of bugs.

• You can make a new bug issue type and name it UAT Bugs or something like that
• You can make components that identify the bug type. For example (IT Bugs, UAT Bug, etc)
• You can make a custom field called "Bug Type" and list the options on the create screen
• You can add labels to the issue that achieve the same functionality as components but its easier to make a mistake with labels since its a free type text field.
