Hi all,

We are setting up SSO using PingOne for Jira and Confluence Applications.

Does the SAML integration  steps in the page below imply only for Confluence or Jira also ?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/saml-single-sign-on-943953302.html#SAMLsinglesign-on-Supportedidentityproviders

Thank you!

Hello Sai and welcome to Atlassian Community!

As Jira and Confluence use the same customer base when it's on the same URL, SAML will be applied to all users that have access on Jira and Confluence.

From the article that you mentioned we can find this information:

Atlassian Access enables company-wide visibility, security, and control across all your Atlassian Cloud products.

SAML for single sign-on (SSO) makes it possible for your users to authenticate through your company's identity provider when they log in to Atlassian Cloud products.

So, all users from all Atlassian products used on the same URL will be able to login with SSO.

If you have any other question, please let us know

Regards,
Angélica
