I have a requirement wherein I have teams from different regions. They work on some long release like 6 monthly release as well as on some short releases like release after every 15 days. We call them Major release and Minor release respectively.
One team at can work on both Major as well as minor release during the sprint execution.
We want to set-up JIRA in such a way that:
1. One product backlog
2. Region as Epic and have multiple teams (e.g. APAC may have 4 teams, USA may have 8 teams, Europe may have 2 teams, Middle East may have 1 team)
3. Then these region will Features such as "Major" and "Minor"
4. These Features will have User Stories under them
Can someone suggest best way on how to effectively set-up JIRA and what all custom fileds or built-in fields and/or features I can use to achieve?
