Setting default Units to hours for Original Estimate and Time Remaining

Our team needs to be able to view the Original Estimate and Time Remaining JIRA fields in hour Units.

Currently when I view these fields they default to the greated common denominator (weeks, days, hours).

So if someone enters 40 hours as an original estimate it will show as # of days/hours, whereas our team wants the times to always be in hours, so we want to see 40 hours.

Maybe.  My admin does not know what needs to change to change the how the units are displayed.  The admin is convinced that the settings only changes the default units of now time is entered, but I need them to fix how the time unit is displayed by default (in hours).  Can you help clarify where in the link above specifically addresses this issue? Thanks for the help in advance also.
