Set the user who manually triggered the event as reporter of the work item

Hi,

I have a rule in a Jira project to copy work items that are acting as templates. I would like to set the reporter on the cloned items as the one who triggered the manual rule. None of the pre-made options (Copy from ...) seem to do the job, nor the fact that the actor is set to "User who triggered the event"

Would it be possible to do it somehow?

I ti si possible with action that you pick. Make sure that users will have permission to modify reporter.

Maybe I did not express myself in details enough. I would like the automation script to automatically pick the user who clicked/activated the automation, to be the value filled in the reporter attribute by the rule when doing a clone of the item.

I'm not asking if it can be changed by the user after the rule has cloned the item.
