Hi, we have been using JIRA service desk for 4 months now and at first it was fine but the more we use it the slower it becomes. Can you see why this is?
Hi @Steph Harris,
The more issues, schemes, custom fields, users you have, the more slower it gets.
These would be my firsts questions. Also I'd look at the Jira sizing guide to see if they hardware (if you have Jira server) fits the size of your Jira: https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/jira-sizing-guide-461504623.html
Let me know what the situation is.
Hi Krisz, thanks for replying. im guessing we are on the cloud as you guys host our service desk. We have 3 projects on the go and around 15 service desk users. I have a few custom fields and dashboards created. We will increase our usage of the service desk so we need to resolve the slowness as its really frustrating

Hi @Steph Harris,
Depending on your geographical location, it might be slow due to the servers are in the US. Other than that, if you experience temporary slowdowns you can go to https://atlassian.statuspage.io/ to see if the service is up and running.
Ultimately you can raise a support request with Atlassian to see what's going on.
In case of further performance problems you can think about migrating to Jira server maybe?

Thank you. How do i go about finding how to migrate to a Jira Server?
