I have to start working with Jira in a closed environment, meaning I do not have access to the API-s from the Internet. The workflow is that we work in JIRA with other participants (testers, etc...) to discover the root cause and if the issue needs fixing in our software we "take over" and continue in our own ticketing system.
When I open a ticket I have the option to either send the issue by email or export the issue in xml.
What I would like to achieve is sending the xml to an email address where our own ticketing system can read it and import it into our database. Is there any way to achieve this? Obviously I can copy paste the xml into a mail client and send it but I would like to do it with a mininum amount of manual work.
