Self-hosted GitLab integration with JIRA

My organization uses self-hosted GitLab. We are trying to integrate with JIRA cloud, evaluating with a free version. But nowhere on the administration or settings, I was able to setup our GitLab. Please assist on how to proceed.

Please note that we use GitLab.<org-name>.net as url and not GitLab.com.

@Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ Thanks for the response. I have gone through the blog and replicated the same in our environment. But ended up having the below queries.

The above link has details about integration on <gitlab.com> and my organization url is <gitlab.xyz.net>. Hence, we are not able to setup connection between JIRA and Git.

This is causing issues with authentication on Gitlab. Please suggest.
