There appears to be a bug that was introduced today. I can't search for / apply an epic for any of my tickets, unless I have recently used that epic.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a ticket.
2. Try and add that ticket to an epic.
Expected: I can select an epic
Actual: The list of epics only shows "recent" epics, not all matching epics.
There should be many epics matching this search, but the only one that displays is the one I have recently used:
Any ideas / workarounds?

@dan , i am seeing other users reporting the same problem.
Please raise the bug with Atlassian support in https://support.atlassian.com/
As it impacts many, there should be a high priority on this
