Search the jira item that has been moved to another project

How to search the original jira number of a jira item that has been moved from one projecct to another project.?

If you go to the History of the current issue, it will show the previous issue key from the original project.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Jira keeps track of the old and new issue keys when issues are moved between projects.

You can use the old issue key in your searches and Jira will automatically find the issue in its current project.

In the below case I moved the SK issue to the CS project. Both the quick search and filters return the new issue key when I search for the old issue key.
