Hi,
I have setup a Kanban board with a board filter that filters a specific work items ("Service") from all the projects that we have. The Service tickets from all these projects are display on the Kanban board.
I have also customized the Kanban card so that is contains the project name which is a combination of customer name and location. To be able to plan the Service activities more efficient I would like to be able to use the search bar at the top of the Kanban board to search for a specific customer.
The problem that i run into is that this search function apparently doesn't work on the project name. Is there something I do wrong or is there a specific setting or workaround.
Please help :-)
Hi @Rob Peters
Welcome to the community.
This box is a text search related to the items on the board.
It can't find project names, it does find work items based on project prefix key.
Hi @Rob Peters
Project name is not searchable, also not in the global search..
This has been raised as a feature, but has been closed as not to be fixed, se https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-37906

Thank you for your response.
I understand it is a text search box for that reason I would have expect it would also be able to search on the project name as it is visible on the board (see screenshot below).
Update: Screenshot has been removed
