When looking up ticket number using the Search with magnifying glass, the resulting ticket is a totally different ticket number.

Are you searching with just the number or with complete ID (xxx-123)?
If you are using just the number part, Jira will search in your currently active project.

I am searching with ticket number e.g 54321, have to make sure the correct ticket number comes up in search...it comes up with totally different ticket number. Have to perform the search again. This has started happening since a week now. Have more analyst in team experiencing the same issue.
