Search boxes in spanish only fits words with accents

Hello there,

We found an issue in the search boxes in general for the issues in Jira. If a ticket has a title like "Módulo" (with accent mark) then if the people try to look for issues containing the Modulo word (without accent mark), we don't find any results.

Is there a way to configure the search box so it includes words with accent mark and without accent mark in Jira?

This is really causing us some issues because some people use accent mark for creating new issues but others don't

Hi @David López welcome to the community.  I found JRACLOUD-74619 on Atlassian's Jira Site which sounds like your issue.

I would suggest voting for it and watching it for updates.  I would also suggest putting a comment on the work item as to how it's impacting your workflows.  As of now, it doesn't have that many votes.
