Hello There,
Im was asked to enable ScrumBan in our Team. The Goal is to use all ScrumFeatures without fixed Sprints.
As recommended i created a new Kanban board with the backlog function. In the backlog-view there are two tables, but the top one shows only all Issues which have the statue "ToDo". On The scrumboard the first one in the backlog view is mirroring the Board.
Is there any way that the table on the kanban board has the same features as the one on the scrumboard? But obvisously without the timebox?
Hoping desperatly for help!
Short answer: Out-of-the-box Jira Cloud does not support intermixing *all possible* features of the different board types. I recommend identifying what your team wants to help effectively manage value-delivery, decide which board type to use, select that one, and mitigate any gaps found, possibly with marketplace apps or additional measurement.
Jira Cloud, projects and boards support many of the basic / commonly-used ideas for teams using the Scrum Framework or simple Kanban practices. Yet, some features are not available for both once a type has been selected (i.e., Scrum or Kanban).
And, you note the idea of using "Scrumban", which was originally suggested as a tool to help teams mature from basic Scrum ideas to more flow-based ones in Kanban practices. (Even the latest two versions of "The Scrum Guide" embrace the idea of using flow-based ideas more, such as with concepts from Donald Reinertsen and Daniel Vacanti.)
There are explanations of Kanban methods which support using cadenced activities in support of improving / maintaining flow (e.g., from David Anderson). However you seem to be describing a focus on Scrum (and the generally accepted practices that go with it), so perhaps use a Scrum board / features, and identify what else the team wants to help them manage flow.
Kind regards,
Bill

Yes, on a Kanban board the backlog will show the Backlog status at the bottom and the first status on the board at the top.
What exactly are you wanting to see?

Hey,
thanks for the answer.
I want to see all issues which are on the board and not only the issues which have the first status.

Maybe pictures talk more than 1000 words.
I want that this table to have the same behavior as the one in scrumprojects. But obvisouly without timebox.
The one in the screenshot only shows issues with state "To Do". I want to see all issues which are on the board .

I just discovered. If I am able to disable the "Sprint" function for scrumboards in a company-manged-Team, I would be happy too.

I think you are wanting some combination of functions that do not exist. If you disable the Sprint function for scrum boards you basically have a Kanban board. So you should probably create one of those and use it.

" If you disable the Sprint function for scrum boards you basically have a Kanban board"
In my opinion this is not true. I loose some functions the "board" table has in Scrumboards. See the Screenshots below. This is the table on a ScrumBoard
Here is the table on a Kanbanboard. I cannot see how many Storypoints each story has, and I only see all "open" issues , on the Scrumboard it shows all issues regardless the state. I know there is a workaround to see the storypoints, but this pretty ugly.

Why are you using story points if you are not doing Scrum? None of this makes any sense to me. IMO, either do scrum or do Kanban, but trying to force the round tool into a square hole doesn't work very well.
