I have created a Company-Managed Software project within which, I want to use a Scrum Board. I am quite well versed in Jira admin, albeit less so with Scrum projects.
I am able to do everything I would like and have this view of everything I would expect. I understand this is essentially a permissions issue, so will describe what has been checked:
1. Filter for Board has been given Viewer permissions to all
2. Board has been given Viewer permissions to all
3. A colleague was made project admin in the project settings, but still, he only sees the reduced view without Backlog and Active sprints
4. I have an active sprint that has begun
Full expected view:
Reduced (Point #3 above):
Any ideas on what I need to do in order for others to be able to view the Backlog and Active sprints?
I basically added people to every single permissions group that seemed related but nothing changed until I added them to `jira-software`. Which, sort of makes sense but still don't know why the others didn't work. Perhaps this supercedes it.
Anyways, my problem is now solved
Hello, Good day. Go to board settings >> General and check the filter permissions. Make sure user's have the view permission. As the board itself is not seen, we need to check on the filter used on the board. Thanks

Hello, while I appreciate your response, points #1 & #2 show that I have already provided the permissions for both the Filter and the Board

I suspect this is related to the Permission Scheme associated with this project. Happy to discuss over a quick call: yousif@usenexus.com.au

Hi, Yousif; thanks for the response. I've provided all reasonable permissions outside of Admin to my users, and still, they can't see the Scrum Board. This did seem like the most reasonable answer!
