Scripted field on the detail view of JIRA agile

Under what condition can we add a scripted field to the detail view of an issue on the Greenhopper plan view ?

It's currently not listed in the list of fields that can be added ?

I believe there is a hard-coded list of field types (ie field type interfaces) that greenhopper supports for adding to cards...

Without modifying the source I doubt you can do anything about this.
