Script Field for Days in Current Status

I see plenty of post for scripts using a specific status, but nothing for just days in current status. We would like to have a field that captures what the board does for time in current column using ScriptRunner. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated it. The time in status plugin isn't a option for us at this time.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I have already reviewed that feed. It requires you specify a status in the script, which will not work for current status. We need the script to use any/all statuses so we are capturing the time in current status, so that as the issue cards move through the workflow this field will continue to update according the the current status.

I will further investigate more and check if there is a way/parameter that can add the current status to the Script as you are needing.
