How can I have a SCHEDULED run automatically for every project (no filters)
I did create the automation rule on global,
set the scope = All Projects
the task is "create Issue"
doent matter if I set
"same project trigger" or "same project" ...
When I run, comes out tha same error: Project or issue type not set (the type is set) so the problem is the project,
I don't have a JQL for all projects ?
What it means? Scheduled doe not run triggering all projects ?
Have I to set each project to have this trigger ? If I forgot to set the trigger for a new project I'll miss it, til realize I forgot ?
Jira supposed to help... but it's painful to set things globally.
"
JQL for all projects is to omit "project =" altogether. I think what you want to do here is to make this a Global rule. You only use multi-project when you want to exclude some projects.
I believe I got it... and I did, the rule is Global, but the only option I have on field project are : "same project trigger" or "same project" ...
What I understand, is "create a ticket" needs a projets,
and althought the Rule is Global, and the Scheduler has no option to define a context,
the Schedule doesnt "run inside" a project, and them, the "same project"var is not set. and the automtion fail.
Question: Am I right?
How can I build a Schedule rule that trigger a Task Creation in all my projects without setup a rule for each one ?
