Hi Team,
We are using Service Connector to connect Salesforce to Jira and using Auto Push abd Auto Pull. For all the fields it is working fine but data from a salesforce field is not getting pushed automatically to standard "Description" field in Jira when creating an issue. Whereas the manual push is working fine.
Any leads would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Navjot Aujla
Hi Navjot,
Immanuel here from the ServiceRocket team. The most common root-cause of the auto-push (from SF to JIRA) not pushing is due to the trigger. Can we confirm if you have added the following trigger:
Also, does it only occur when creating a JIRA issue from Salesforce. If so, we would like to troubleshoot this further. Please send us an email at apps-support@servicerocket.com.
Thanks Navjot, looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Immanuel
Thanks immanuel for the reply.
We are not using the trigger as we are not auto pushing and pulling fields for every change. It is just when we initially create an issue from SF to Jira, we select the button Auto Push and Auto Pull. All the fields are been pushed from SF to Jira except a SF field which is mapped to system field "Description" in Jira. When I am using the same mappings and connection to same SF system from some other Jira project, it is working fine.
Please let me know in case of any questions.
Thanks,
Navjot Aujla

@Navjot Aujla hi! Yes, you should check out the trigger. You can also use an external tool, like ZigiOsp, to make the connection even easier. It's a no-code tool that allows for customization - to fit various use cases. Feel free to check it out and even book a demo to see how ZigiOps can help you.
Regards, Diana (ZigiWave team)
