[SOLVED] Set Issue Security Level Automation rule failing

Benjamin D July 7, 2024

I have an Automation Rule that will trigger when my custom field (Select List (single choice) value changes.

If the field "Confidentiality // Visibility" then it should trigger an automation to Set the Issue security level depending on which option they select (Management Team or Public)

Summary.png

The Automation Audit Log says the rule's Actor doesn't have permission to Set the Issue Security, but it does.

I have given "Automation for JIRA" user (and Actor) every permission, including Set Issue Security Level

I've tried many configurations multiple times. Why is this automation failing to Set Issue Security please?

Thank you for this @Trudy Claspill

My Automation now works.

I did not have "Security Level" field displayed in my View/Edit Screen.
