I would greatly appreciate some advice (and actual code sample that works) in calling external web-service with groovy script using script-runner. (or any other solution, but not JIRA web-hooks)
I was trying to use wslite library to do that, but unfortunately I'm not able to import anything from that library, regardles of where the wslite.jar is located.
I'm trying something like:
import wslite.soap.SOAPClient
def client = new SOAPClient('site?wsdl')
....more code
I always get:
org.codehaus.groovy.control.MultipleCompilationErrorsException: startup failed: Script4.groovy: 2: unable to resolve class wslite.http.auth.HTTPBasicAuthorization @ line 2, column 1. import wslite.http.auth.HTTPBasicAuthorization ^ Script4.groovy: 1: unable to resolve class wslite.soap.SOAPClient @ line 1, column 1. import wslite.soap.SOAPClient
whether I use inline script or file. Other simple scripts from scriptrunner tutorial work fine.
Thanks in advance
Lukas
If you put the jar in web-inf/lib and then restart jira, it should work. Where did you put it?
I have it in web-inf/libs and scripts root folder (just in case)
And can not import.
This is similar to:
Adaptavist Scriptrunner: importing groovy classes from 3rd party jar
but there is no solution for JARs in those answers. Or maybe I'm missing something.
