Hi, we got a problem creating projects using SCRUM or KANBAN. Jira tells us the following every time we want to create a new SCRUM or KANBAN Project:

"Hmm... we couldn't create your project due to an unknown error. Try refreshing the page to start agein."

The logfile tells us the following:

2019-08-12 11:18:47,734 http-nio-8080-exec-7 ERROR sysadmin 678x14346x1 ax9v5m 192.168.225.153 /rest/project-templates/1.0/templates [c.a.p.r.c.error.jersey.ThrowableExceptionMapper] Uncaught exception thrown by REST service: An error occurred while notifying that a project was created
java.lang.RuntimeException: An error occurred while notifying that a project was created

The same error appears with whatever user we try - unfortunately all online ressources i was able to locate tell me this problem should be fixed but i got it. We are using Jira V8.2.2 on a windows Server with PostgreSQL.

Someone got a solution for this?

Hi

Have you tried the steps in this article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/hmm-we-couldn-t-create-your-project-due-to-an-unknown-error-818580338.html

In the diagnosis section, the last bullet point looks to be the same error as you receive. A resolution to this is also provided in the resolution section.

Hope this helps!
Kind regards
Jorden

Hi Michael

Aw, that's sad to hear. I think your best shot is to also open a ticket with Atlassian's support as stated in the article.

You can create a request via this link: https://support.atlassian.com/contact

Kind regards
Jorden
