Roadmaps in JIRA

I went through the tutorial on how to enable Roadmaps in Jira, but when I go to my Project Settings I don't see any "Features" section to enable Roadmaps. Is there a reason why I would not have access to Roadmaps in general or am I overlooking something?

you can only do this on "next-gen" projects not existing classic projects. Create a new next-gen project and try. If desired you can bulk move issues from you old classic project to the new one but make sure that is what you wish to do as you will lose some capabilities that the classic provides.
