Roadmap - only some of the child stories of an Epic show when expanding - why?

I created roadmap with a few Epics - when pressing the <down> arrow to the left of the Epic name it expands to show child stories, tasks etc, for some reason it shows only some.

It is unclear why these show and others do not.

All items associated with an epic should show on the roadmap.  Can you share a screenshot of the issue on your road map and a screenshot of an issue you expect to see under the epic that is not showing?
