Roadmap from Kanban board

We would like to be able to see stories or tasks in the roadmap feature based on start and end dates input at story/issue creation.  The result we are looking for can be acheived by entring stories/tasks as epics directly onto the roadmap.  

Is there any way to generate a roadmap based off of the kanban board?

Hello,

Roadmaps show only epics. If you want to show an issue in the Roadmap, it must be an epic.
