Roadmap feature activation in JIRA server version 7.3.6

Hello,

We would like to activate the roadmap feature in our Jira version, but we don't have this option in our server version 7.3.6. So, we would like to know if we have to do an upgrade to a superior version and if yes. What version you recommends.

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

The new Roadmap feature is only available on Jira Cloud, it is not available on Jira Server.

roadmap is only a cloud offering at this time. there has been no word if this might be added to server or not. The challenge is that Roadmap is totally reliant on the NG projects which is completely new code. So for server, either NG would need to be introduced into the code base or a completely new implementation would be required.
