I experience the same problem. Every time I change the start date of an epic with the slider on the roadmap it changes back after 10 seconds to the previous date. However this only happens for epics with stories, whereby some stories have a reporting date earlier than the start date of the epic.
If I create a new epic without existing stories I can change it as much as I want and it doesn't change back to the previous date.
Do you know what can cause this? As not my roadmap becomes quite a mess.
