How do we create retrospective board in JIRA that has default issues type as Retrospective.
I intend to use it to capture all feedback and when some feedback have issues created on back of them want to link it to retrospective item for tracking purpose.

If you want to create a specific 'retrospective' issue type, first you need to create the issuetype if it doesn't exist (Jira settings-> issues-> issuetype). Then you need to add the issue type to your project (e.g., from project settings-> issue types->actions(...)-> Edit issuetype-> move the 'retrospective' issue type from the 'available issue types' table to the 'issue types for current scheme' table. People will be able to create this type of issue type in your project. You can customize workflow and screens, if you'd like (let me know if you'd like more details). Once the issue type exists in your project, you can create a board that includes this issue type. E.g. from your project-> Create a board-> Kanban or Scrum-> Board from an existing project or from a filter (if you have a number of projects where the 'retrospective' issue types may exist)-> and you can restrict the issues in the board to be of the issue type 'retrospective' only, or you can allow 'retrospective' and any other issue type that you'd like to see in that board.
You could link 'stories' or 'task' or any other issue type for action items from the retrospective, or you can allow subtasks and have subtasks as the actions items.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you'd like more details or pictures and I can add them. Good luck!
