Hello,

Is there any way to retrieve worklog of deleted JIRA using  UAT instance and migrate it to Production server as is.

We have efforts logged by 60-70 odd people from the last 6 months on an issue which got deleted accidentally.

Fortunately we had a back up on UAT version and can see the deleted JIRA in that instance.

But need to know how we can retrieve it onto production server long with work log.

Yes, you can.

Restore the backup to a temporary instance.  Go into this and delete all the issues in the project that you do not want to restore.  Export the whole lot to xml.  In Production, use "project import" to import that project from the xml.

Before you do any of that though, please remove "delete issue" rights from every permission scheme, to prevent having to spend days wasting your time on this!
