Restrict status change to specific people

Hello,

I am looking to restrict changing status to only selected people on a project. The workflow/scheme is shared with 50 other projects. I want to make this change only on one project. How can I achieve this? I tried searching for an answer but failed to do so.

Hi @Murat Can 

Welcome to the community !!

As your workflow scheme is shared with 50 other projects, changes will be applied to all projects. 

Workaround: 

1. Create a group and add only users who should be able to change the status/transition ticket
2. Create a copy of required Workflow and Workflow scheme. 
3. Edit the copied workflow, add condition "User Is In Group" to required transition.
4. Map the edited workflow to copied workflow scheme.
5. Add workflow scheme to the required project only.

You should be able to add two new Conditions that are grouped together.

Suit yourself, but it is the best solution for what you are trying to do in my opinion.

hi @John Funk this looks way too complicated for me and my use case.

@Rilwan Ahmedwhen i check the edit button this is what i see rather then add conditon or triggers. see SS below

Click on the transition, not status. And in next screen, you can add condition.
