This is driving me crazy, hopefully someone can help. I'm new to Jira. I've managed to set up projects and permission them so far... this last step is a blocker.
Thanks!
I’ve set up four projects:
Project 1
Project 2
Project 3
Project 4
| admin view
User A has permission to view only two projects:
Project 1
Project 2
| user A view
When User A clicks the Create issue button, in the project field dropdown they see:
Project 1
Project 2
Project 3
Project 4
| user A view
I need to restrict the options in the dropdown so that User A can only choose from the two projects they actually have permission to view.
Hello @Shay Murtagh
That list is generated based on the Create Issues permission rather than the Browse Projects permission. Ensure the users do not have the Create Issues permission in the schemes associated with the other projects.
That worked, thanks a lot!
