Restrict Board visiblity for certain users (not groups)

Deleted user August 28, 2018

Does JIRA have the capability to restrict board such that only certain users from a project have visibility to it?

Use case: I have 10 boards for 10 teams all working under a single project with the same project permission. Each teams should only have access to the particular board they are related to.

Unable to find restricting filter for few users.

Creating groups or configuring Security Level just for certain team will not be approved in our environment.

I need to know if there is a workaround.

Hello,

You can share a filter with a group or a role. If you do not want to user groups, then you can use roles.

Sercurity Level works different from filter sharing. Filter sharing does not prevent access of your users to other issues. Security Level does.

Hello Alexey,

Thanks a lot for the reply.

Not sure why i did not think about roles. That has to work.

Thanks,
