We have two Done statuses: Done and Stale. ever since this change, the issues persist on the board post sprint completion.

I have marked both of the done statuses to a single column that is set to the end of the scrum workflow. What am i doing wrong?

This is a JIRA next gen project

In a Scrum board, the issues are supposed to be visible during the sprint (they have to be, otherwise you can't report on them.

You say "post completion" though, which suggests what you really mean is that the issues are moving to the next sprint.

When the sprint is ended. are the issues in the last column on the board?  The right-most one?  And are all their sub-tasks in the last column?

Yes, we have set it to the last column (right most). There was an issue with the done column not being the last column.

Our sprint ends today, the right-most column was affected when we added multiple done statuses. We've clubbed them together into the column on the far right. I'll reach out on this thread in case that doesnt work.
