Resolved: Unable to change email on account - Help !

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

I am not receiving email notifications anymore, to troubleshoot this issue, I decided to change my email address in my account.

The system is telling me:

Update pending verification

We just need you to check your email ____________ and confirm your password to verify it's you and complete the update.

The problem:  It is sending me a message to my OLD email to tell me to check in my NEW email and confirm the change.  But I am not getting anything in the NEW email.

Bottom line:  1) Email notifications stopped working on my OLD email, 2) I can't confirm my NEW email...

All help will be welcome.  I am lost !

 

UPDATE:

 

 

Problem #1 resolved:  A rule in Outlook created to capture the notifications from ONE jira user, was in fact capturing ALL notifications from any user !!! 

 

Problem #2 has been narrowed to only one of my emails.  It is working for other emails.  Would need to contact the email provider to understand why they are blocking the email confirmation from Jira.
