Hi team,

I’ve been assigned a Jira-related task with detailed requirements (see attached screenshots). I’m relatively new to Jira—while I can create projects and set up basic workflows and automations, I’m unsure how to implement these specific requirements.

Could someone please review the screenshots and guide me through the setup step by step? A detailed walkthrough and any best-practice tips would be greatly appreciated.

What is the time frame for completing the task?

In addition to the suggestion made by Sai and Staffan, if the scope of the task is beyond your skill set to complete by the specified due date, you may want to suggest to your company that they engage an Atlassian Solution Partner to help with this task. If you have an extended period of time to work on the task then alternately you may want to start working through the training courses available from the Learning site (link at the top of the Community pages), and subscribe to you own copies of the products to work out the necessary configuration without impacting your employer's environment.

I agree with Sai, this i quite a tall order. The requriemts are quite clear but we are talking about serveral days even for a skilled administrator and it is not possible to create a guide covering everything.

Can you get some help from some collegues if you get stuck?

They are asking you to create 3 different projects and they i have given the tasks that need to be created in those specific projects. And explaining step by step process for creating them will take lot of time and its nearly impossible to write that much over here. Request you to get a help from ChatGPT.
