Reporter gets delayed task notifications for no reason

Hello,

We have a user who says he gets email notifications for "late/delayed tasks" (uncertain about the default English term). But, the tickets in question are only those that he is the Reporter of. He has no "task" to do there, he should only be getting status updates. He says that when he clicks the link in the notification email, he is redirected to a Jira filter that is empty.

Do you know why that is?

Thanks in advance,

Silvia

Hi @Silvia Saric

Look like his email address or he is part of a group that is subscribed to a filter for regular notification email.

does he get the notification email at specific time of the day?

Hello @Dilip (and thanks @Nikola Perisic),

You were right, the user used a group email address (Customer Service) so I told him now to use his personal account when reporting tickets going forward.

Thanks!

Silvia

Hello @Silvia Saric

  • Has the user modified personal settings, specifically:

  • When did the user start to face this issue?
  • Who is the recipient for the Created issue event in notification scheme?
