Hi @Devi
So you want to know to what extent apps are being used in your Jira instance?
There are no global metrics to track this.
It would probably be quite difficult because all apps are different. Some add JQL functions, some add a couple of buttons and some add almost an entire new application in JIra.
Some apps might show you that information but to be honest I don't know any app that does by heart.
May I ask why you need this? I assume you want to decide which apps to keep if they are not being used by many users?
Thank you so much for the response . Yes , we want to track the app usage so that we can provide guidance to users , make decisions on app removal if not being used effectively and eventually save on cost.
We went the route to check with the app company and got a surprising answer that that kind of data is not maintained by them as the data is of Atlassian. made it more difficult to accept.
I wonder why Atlassian has stopped using the apps that was available in Datacenter and server versions of Jira. Has the technology changed.
If anyone has some insight on how Apps and Jira instance interact and how they can be tracked (other than the audit) through its APIs will behelpful.
