Hello,

Recently there's an issue with my Jira account when I'm trying to create an issue. The "Reproter" field get automtaically filled with a long id and not my account name as it used to be. And I'm not even able to manually add my account there as it doesn't seem to find it.

Best regards,

Mihai

Hello @Mihai Cimpan

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Per the details you provided so far,  I believe the issue you are facing where your Jira account is being displayed with an "Id code" in some fields might be related to the changes applied to Atlassian identity to be compliant with GDPR policies, as described in the documentation below:

Portal-only customers have a randomly-generated username

These changes include replacing personally-identifiable usernames with randomly generated hashes in the format qm:<alphanumeric-hash>. Here's an example of a username in this format:

We have the following bug reported about this behavior:

User name is displayed on a User Picker custom field when editing issue

Feel free to vote and watch the bug to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

If you are facing something different, please provide us a screenshot displaying where exactly you are trying to create an issue (Customer portal, internal Jira UI, etc) and for which kind of users you are facing this problem (Customer, Agent, etc).
