Hi Gamze,

Just following up on your request! You asked how to change the weekly label format in eazyBI - specifically, you wanted to rename labels like "W47, Nov 16 2020" to a shorter format like "KW 47".

Good news: you can do this with a custom Time hierarchy. It lets you decide exactly how each date, week, or month is shown in your reports and charts.

You have been able to set this up since version 7.0, but back then, you needed to figure out the JavaScript code for the hierarchy. Now, since version 9.0, it is much simpler - you just write what you want in plain words, and the new Custom Time hierarchy Assistant builds the JavaScript code for you.

Cloud - ready to use now.
Data Center - update to version 9.0 and turn on AI assistants (Settings -> Additional).

Hi @Gamze Ercan Kaya,

If you have the eazyBI Server version (eazyBI for Jira Server or Private eazyBI), you could try using custom locales to change the format of "Time" dimension members. Note custom locales are common for all reports in the eazyBI account and therefore changes would affect all reports.

Please find more information on our documentation page - how to change the display name for weeks: https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/set-up-and-administer/customization/custom-locales.

If you have the eazyBI Cloud product, there is no option to change week labels for the chart.

Best,
Zane / support@eazyBI.com
