We are trying to have development log their time using smart commits (#time 5h) with a hook into GitHub. The aggregation of time is correctly shown in the Jira issue, however when a developer deletes a branch, the branch is still present in the issue and the time work log does not remove the time logged against commits in the branch. How can updates such as branch removals and work log be reflected accurately in such situations without manual removal of the time.
