Hi admins,
In our project. Every tickets are having Implementation plan, Backout plan, Test plan.
I have checked some Jira documents. And it said it is related to Change management in project settings.
May I know:
-When I disable it. The previous records will be lost or not? Because some of the issue types are using this feature
-And is there any other way to hide them in some of the issue types? Because we still want to use it in one of our issue types.
-Also, is there any places to store archives and backup of the tickets?
Thank you!
Hi Thomas - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Did you ever get this figured out? What was your solution?
Hello @Thomas Lau
Based on what I know, hiding or disabling implementation plans, backout plans, or test plans in Jira can be done by modifying the issue type screen scheme or field configuration.
Disabling it will not delete previous records, but they may become inaccessible through the user interface.
For selective hiding, you can use field-level conditions or automation rules to ensure these fields are only visible for specific issue types.

I have tried to hide or disable those plans in Jira. I removed them from the content already. And they still appear in the tickets.
While they have description said "This field is used in the issue view. Adding it to the request form will remove it from the issue view.
