Remove deleted user from a Team

I'm trying to follow the docs here for "Removing a member from a team" - https://confluence.atlassian.com/advancedroadmapscloud/adding-and-removing-teams-998651658.html

However, we deleted one of the user's accounts but they still appear in the Team. How can I remove them from the team?

I'm not sure I understand what you're suggesting. I can ask support to "reindex" my Jira Cloud instance?
