You can define indvidal workflows for each issue type by defining a workflow scheme. Such a scheme maps each issue type to a workflow

If you have mutiple Issue types in you project and each of them needs a different workflow then you can associate different workflow for different issue type. Every project contains only one workflow scheme, but each scheme may contain multiple workflows. Also, if you have 4 issue types and you need one workflow for two of them and remaining two has different, then this also can be achieved using the different workflows for each issue tyep. If the workflow is not defined as per the issue types then the workflow will be set as Deafult and will be associated with evary issue type similarly, if no workflow is associated with any specific issue type then default workflow will be used for that issu type.
