I want to automate the validation stage of the ticket. One of the JIRA tickets contain redirect links to certain segments which as a CTA in a campaign. Can rovo dev validate the redirect link and check if the links are redirecting to the correct page based on the ticket campaign description? Can we automate this process?
I'd maybe rather use Rovo Agents than Rovo Dev. You could build an agent that: 🤔
Analyzes context - like, reads the Jira work item campaign description and acceptance criteria
Execute/performactions - this is where it might get a bit tricky. Meaning, you'd need to test stuff out to see if custom agents built via UI can actually perform this and check redirect links if they reach the correct final URL. For this, you could explore custom Rovo Dev Skills, but I'd still rather try to see if out-of-the-box skills would be sufficient here.
Automate - lastly, you could trigger agents using Jira Automation
It's also good to mention that all of this depends on where these final links are located; meaning, if they are potentially internal or behind a firewall. If that's the case, then Rovo Dev CLI will probably handle things better than cloud-only agent. 👀
