Hello everyone,
The Jira admin has left the company (we had only one admin), we know his username and password but his email account was deactivated and we can't login to set up the new admin and also change the password of this particular account
We've tried to recover his email but we didn't succeed.
How can we restore control over admin rights in this scenario?
Regards,
Rodrigo
Hi @rodrigo.monteiro ,
Details in https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/cannot-access-site-admin-account-770802088.html
I am the billing and technical contact of my organisation still there is no way to contact support because to be able to create a ticket I need to log in.
If I try to log in with my credentials I get a message asking to enter 2FA details sent to my phone.
I don't get anything in my phone so I click on I don't have access to my phone and then I am asked for an emergency recovery code, which I don't have.
Then I click on send recovery instructions by email but I never receive the email.

We have exactly the same trouble.
Really it's a big trouble due finally is impossible (or at least that's in appearance), to contact with a supoport agent.
I have been trying a lot to get in touch with someone but all the time I'm finishing with the AI bot explaining me about how I must to ask for help here, in the community groups or to read the documentation.
Is that a good answer?, obviously not.
