I am looking for a way in which I can attach text or text files to tickets for my own reference that need not be communicated to the rest of the team.
This is a query regarding improving my own workflow. The nature of my role involves many stages of producing digital assets before setting them up in a product build to be testable.
My current workflow is this: beginning any sprint, for each ticket, bug or user story I'm assigned, I create an equivalent .rtf text file on my computer that acts as a repository where I can store all information that I need regarding my own process for seeing these items through from start to finish.
The nature of my role and deliverables means that up to 75% of this information is not tracked on Jira ticket to be visible by the rest of my team and nor would it be useful to do so.
Is there any sort of plugin, app etc. which would allow me to attach such information to a ticket that would only be visible by me? Bear in mind, privacy is not really an issue here. My greater concern would be flooding a ticket with information that would confuse other team members.
Hey @Ben Donohoe ,
Take a look at some of these marketplace apps who do exactly what you're looking for: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=private%20notes
I have not used these before, but it never hurts to try :)
Cheers,
Peter
This is exactly what I was looking for Peter. Thanks for the recommendation!
