Recall a query for a Kanban board view

When viewing my board I see horizontal tabs called Summary, Backlog, Kanban board, List, All Work, Components, etc. 

On the All work tab there is a field to enter JQL that defaults to listing all issues in the current project. I want to change the query to list open Epics. I saved my new query as a filter, but when I go back to the All work tab the old query is in place and there is no way to load my saved filter. 

Is it possible to configure the All work tab's query so that its persistent?

Hi @swright  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

That tab (All work) is going to be going away and will be combined with the List view. You can go to the List view now, which pretty much shows the same information. And there you can add filters to only show Epics.
