We have JIRA SW Standard annual subscription.
As per https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing its cost is $7750 for 100 users.
Premium for 1 year costs $15250.
In case I decide to move from Standard to Premium 6 months after the start of Standard subscription then:
1. Will I be charged only for Premium-Standard difference for the remaining period:
($15250 - $7750) / 2 = $3750
(and the license expiration remains 6 months from now)
2. OR my Standard subscription will be lost and I will be just charged for 1 year of Premium, i.e. $15250.
If possible, please give me a reference for your answer. But I will be glad for not referenced answers as well.

The support advocates@am.atlassian.com has replied:
"I understand that you wish to upgrade to Premium after 6 months of Standard subscription, please note that the amount from that date will be prorated and you won't need to pay the full upgrade amount, it will be depending on the time of upgrade from the start date.
The maintenance period will also be the same from your initial renewal, so if for example your renewal is from September 4, 2023 - September 4, 2024 and you decide to upgrade around March 4, 2024, the upgrade amount will be prorated and the maintenance end date will still be up until September 4, 2024."
In spite of the fact that the exact amount is not confirmed, but in any case the answer matches the 1st option above.
