To confirm what you are asking about, do you mean the Rank field?  This appears as a string of alphanumeric and symbol characters, such as: 0|hzzypm: 

If so, Rank is the ordering mechanism to handle issues moved in an ever-changing backlog.  There is a separate Priority indicator which your product owner/stakeholders could use to identify different priority levels.  The default Priority values are: highest, high, medium, low, and lowest.

One way to organize work for backlog refinement is to order items by Rank and filter by Priority of interest (e.g. Highest).

Hi Reddy - You would need to create a custom number field and populate it with the ranking of each one. Then you can sort by the custom field.
