Some months ago the sprints were closed correctly.
Today, we need to  ADD  links to those issues (of the closed sprint).

What happens if I reopen the issue ( only to add a link )  of the closed sprint.  Any impact ?

Thanks in  advance

Hi @Daniel TARITOLAY (PM) and welcome to the community!

When you say "reopen" the issue, do you mean...

  • Editing the closed issue
  • Actually reopening the issue (e.g. transitioning from Done to another status type)

If the former, no issues whatsoever.

If the latter, I'd have to ask why you're doing so just to add some links.  You should be able to add links without having to transition the issue out of the resolved status.

Hi Mark ,
Thanks a lot for your quick response !

In fact, I only need to add "Issue Links" to the issue (task or UserStory).
* Status (issue) = COMPLETED

These issues are in a closed sprint. (the sprint closed some months ago).

And
To add an "issue Link"  ... The only option I see is to "re-OPEN" the issue.
When I re-open the issue , I have a new status of it
* Status (issue) = REOPENED

These actions impact in the closed sprint ?
( the sprint will not be changed, because it was closed)

Thanks a lot again !

Interesting that you're unable to add links to completed issues.  It sounds like there may be some editing restrictions on your old issues (perhaps a property on your completed status)

Unless you're trying to link historic issues to historic issues, perhaps try linking the other way around. Meaning... add links on your active issues back to the historic issues.
